An events company is inviting marketing, events, sales or communications professionals from Milton Keynes-based international companies to go networking on yachts.

P&MM Events & Communications, in Breckland, in the Linford Wood part of the new city, will be holding its Clipper Challenge in the Solent in June.

Chris Clarke, P&MM’s director of group event services, said: “With Milton Keynes being our own home town and also as the UK base of many international companies, many of whom using events as part of their strategic communications, we extend an invitation to anyone who feels that they may benefit from participating in this outstanding experience to make contact with us.

“This is a superb team building and networking opportunity and a chance to have a taste of life as a crew member on one of these ocean going yachts for a day is an experience of a lifetime, as well as the perfect forum to meet like-minded professionals from around the world!”

The two day event, off the south coast near Portsmouth on June 4 and 5, will involve a visit to the Mary Rose as well as training to sail on a yacht and a race event. Up to eight teams will be using 68 foot Clipper Events racing yachts that have circumnavigated the globe four times in races.

The event and business networking session will be held at the newly opened Mary Rose Museum in Portsmouth where this will be the first corporate event to be held there.
