STAFF and their young charges are celebrating an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted result at Busy Bees Nursery in Oldbrook this month.

The nursery received a glowing report, with ‘outstanding’ in all areas of the inspection – a result held by less than 10 per cent of Early Years setting in the UK.

Inspectors were full of praise and noted ‘children are making excellent progress in their learning and development due to the extremely committed staff who successfully implement the Early Years Foundation Stage’.

Other comments added that nursery staff ‘work extremely closely with parents’ and provide a ‘wonderful and rich range of resources to support and develop understandings of different cultures and beliefs’.

The nursery was complimented as being ‘visually very stimulating and overall extremely well resourced’.

In summing up, the report described how ‘all children are flourishing and thriving in this warm, welcoming and vibrant setting’.

Nursery manager, Julie Boulton, said: “I am very proud of the whole team.

“All the staff at the nursery work tirelessly to ensure that every area of care and education is provided at the highest level for our children and their families.”
