Calcutta Brasserie will soon be celebrating its best ever year so far, on what is to be their fourth anniversary.
To mark the occasion on September 19 they will host a lavish evening of traditional Indian celebrations.
Since taking over the management of the historic Moghul Palace in 2008, the Indian restaurant has become one of the regions most talked about restaurants, and along the way it has received national recognition for its quality of food and service.
The Stony Stratford based restaurant has won ‘Best Asian Restaurant’ and ‘Best Asian Chef’ at the Milton Keynes Food & Leisure Awards (MKFLA), was a finalist at The British Curry Awards and highly commended in The Tiffin Cup Awards.
To celebrate their best ever year, Calcutta’s team are putting on a ‘night to remember’ according to proprietor, Mo.
He said: “It is fair to say that 2012 has been our most successful year to date, we have introduced some really exciting initiatives, ‘Dining in the Dark’ being our most famous. This celebratory night is about thanking you all for your continued support and looking to the year ahead.”
On the night, guests will be will be entertained by traditional Indian musicians while served by staff dressed in traditional Indian clothing – one of the many authentic customs that will take place on the evening.
The restaurant will come to life with a spectacular performance from ‘London Bollywood Dance’ who will bring a touch of Bollywood to Milton Keynes!
The Head Chef has prepared a special menu for the evening that has been created to bring in elements of his traditional family cooking together with his own unique dishes that have set him apart from other Indian chefs in the UK. The three course meal costs £21.95 per person and includes a champagne reception from 7.30pm.
