MEMBERS of a Shenley Brook End drop-in centre have posed for glamourous photographs to raise money for Willen Hospice.

Catherine Turner-Perrott runs the service athte Village Hall every Monday for ‘anyone who is around during the day and wants to come and learn some crafts, play some games and have a friendly face to listen to and have a cup of tea and a chat.’

But this year, four of her regular visitors sadly passed away, and Catherine thought it would be a great idea to get some of her other members to pose in vintage pictures to make a calendar in their memory and to raise money for charity.

Catherine said: “But We sadly lost four ladies from the drop-in centre last year, so in loving memory or them we decided to create a vintage theme calendar to sell for Willen Hospice. The pictures are all of regular members of the drop-in.”
