The biggest play event in Milton Keynes, MK Playday, will see thousands of children having fun in the sun in Campbell Park on Wednesday, August 6.
At this popular event Campbell Park will once again be transformed into a celebration of children and play with popular activities like woodland play, drama workshops, storytelling, sport activities, stage entertainment, bug hunting and an under 5s area all making a return.
Julie Dawes, Events Coordinator at The Parks Trust, said: “Each year MK Playday gets bigger with lots to inspire outdoor play and this year the organising committee needs support from local organisations and businesses to help ensure that 2014 will be the best MK Playday yet. We are asking for organisations who can offer sponsorship, raffle prizes or help in kind to come forward.”
Any organisations that can offer assistance or would like more information about how they can get involved are asked to contact Andy Grout, Chief Executive Milton Keynes Play Association and Chair of the MK Playday Organising Committee. Please call Andy on 01908 263033 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Andy said: “Last year we had 8,000 parents and kids enjoying MK Playday so we hope local organisations will do whatever they can to help us make this year’s event bigger and better than ever.”
