Carluccio’s CEO Simon Kossoff and six members of his team are set to ride 500 miles on a charity bike ride in aid of Action Against Hunger.

On Thursday, July 12, the team will visit Carluccio’s, Milton Keynes, to rest, refuel and meet supporters.

You can donate to this worthwhile cause by visiting The Just Giving site or come down to the restaurant for dinner and Carluccio’s will contribute £1 from each main course it sells that evening to the charity.

The Carluccio’s cyclists are setting off from Glasgow on Saturday, July 7, travelling via Leeds, Nottingham and Milton Keynes, making stops at the Carluccio’s along the way. Antonio Carluccio will welcome cyclists at the St Christopher’s Place restaurant in London on Friday, July 13, the end of the challenge, and present a cheque to the charity for all monies raised to date.

Carluccio’s has supported Action Against Hunger since 2008 and has already raised £700,000 for the charity, mostly through a 50p donation from sales of its popular dish Penne Giardiniera. This summer, Carluccio’s aims to break the £750,000 mark and is seeking donations which can be submitted at the above Just Giving link
