IT’S that time of year again as Newport Pagnell prepares to welcome back the annual carnival.
Now into its 52nd year, the carnival will take place on Saturday July 7, with a royal theme to celebrate the Queen’s diamond jubilee.
Through town you will see the Nene Valley Chapter Bikers open the day followed by 25th annual Classic Car Rally.
Back by popular demand, the street will be filled with the sounds of the Milton Keynes Bagpipe band, before a parade of more than 20 floats and walking entries head through Newport Pagnell.
After the parade make sure you check out Riverside Meadow for a day full of entertainment, games and family packed fun, including an incredible horse jousting battle, dancers, funfair, food, licensed bar, Punch and Judy, stalls and much more!
Organisers are still keen for volunteers to help out on the day - if you can help email firstname.lastname@example.org or visit www.newportpagnellcarnival.com
