Thames Valley Police has released CCTV images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a shoplifting incident at a Sainsbury’s store in January.

At about 3.20pm on Thursday, January 5, a man entered the store on Benbow Court, Shenley Church End, and stole steak, cooked meat, and cheese.

The man left the store without paying and walked out towards the direction of Engaine Drive.

The man is about 25-years-old, slim, and approximately 5ft 6ins. He was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a grey hat, white trainers, and a dark jacket.

PC Albert Bernard, from the Shenley Church End neighbourhood policing team, said: “I would like to hear from anyone who can help identify this man as we believe he has information that could help with our enquiries.”

Anyone with any information should contact PC Bernard via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 101.

If you don’t want to speak directly to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.

No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
