Children battling cancer were given an early Christmas treat today as they were visited by a host of celebrities.

Performers in next weekend’s MK Christmas Party joined ITV Text Santa and Dons boss Karl Robinson to spread festive joy to the brave youngsters.

The event, organised by Henry Allen Trust Ambassadors, saw the likes of Liz McClarnon from Atomic Kitten, Imagination’s Leee John and Kym Mazelle from First Lady of House, visit Milton Keynes Hospital.

They then travelled to arena:mk where the inaugural MK Christmas Party will be held on December 19.

“It is phenomal how much support we have had. We are just so grateful that Henry’s legacy can continue and help others on their journey - something we didn’t necessarily have.

“Emotionally today is very hard because we’ve been joined by Henry’s Santa. He helped support us.

“He told me earlier that Henry changed his life.

“It’s very hard watching other children at this time of the year, but it was Henry’s last wish and it’s what Henry wants. That is what gets me out of bed, not every day, but on day’s like these.”
