Charity seeks puppy socialisers in Milton Keynes
The charity would love to hear from people living in this area who have a secure garden and won’t be away from the pup for more than four hours a day (two hours in the first few weeks).
The puppies are destined to become life-changing assistance dogs supporting adults and children with a range of disabilities and families of a child with autism, or therapy dogs working in special educational needs schools and with adults with autism.

Hide AdPuppy socialisers train their pups in basic obedience and introduce them to a variety of environments (e.g. shopping centres, cafes, hospitals, sports clubs and on trains and buses) to help them become confident, well-behaved dogs in places they will encounter as working dogs. Dogs for Good staff provide excellent support and run monthly puppy classes. The pup’s food and vet costs are paid by the charity.
Potential volunteers should visit www.dogsforgood.org to find out more about the role, see if they meet the criteria and enter their postcode to check we’re recruiting where they live.
