The Milton Keynes Islamic Arts Heritage and Culture group recently gave a speech to a Chinese delegation about the work they do in the community.

The 20 delegates, who are the civil servants in charge of the culture and heritage preservation for ethnic minorities in China, came to the city where Anouar Kassim gave the speech.

Anouar gave a presentation on the Islamic Art Banner project which enabled local art students from Milton Keynes College to explore Islamic culture and had a question and answer session with the delegates.

The reason for the two month tour of the UK was to learn how to preserve the culture and heritage in the country with a focus on ethnic minorities and the trip had been organised by the State Ethnic Affairs Commission in Beijing, China.
