FOOTBALL crowds may already be known for their singing, but the fans at stadium:mk will be joined by another 300 people next month to make even more noise at half time.

Singing City will have hundreds of choir members and singing individuals at stadium:mk for Preston North End’s visit on Saturday December 17 to help create an uplifting sound at half time that will keep the singing going.

Gitika Partington who will be leading the harmony singing said: “Singing at outdoor sporting events has a different feel from singing almost anywhere else, it is a real buzz and with the Olympics coming up we need to get as much practice in as we can.

“We are looking for people who love to sing to come and help us make this amazing event really special.”

The Half Time Choir is open to choirs and individual singers.

If you would like to take part in the Half Time Choir you need to be able to come along to one of the upcoming introduction rehearsals, the first of which is taking place on Wednesday, November 16 at the Ridgeway Centre in Wolverton, from 7.30pm until 9.30pm. For more info, visit www.stables.org
