A Milton Keynes supermarket is taking part in the Stocking For Heroes scheme for troops serving abroad.
Morrisons in Barnsdale Drive is running an in-store collection, as part of the national Help For Heroes campaign over Christmas.
Between now and December 4 customers are invited to donate boiled sweets, toiletries, cards and games into a Stockings For Heroes trolley within store.
All donations collected will be placed into stockings and posted out to soldiers in time for Christmas.
Louise Goosden, community champion for Morrisons Milton Keynes, said: “We want to bring some Christmas cheer to our heroes abroad. We hope that all of our customers will join us in donating small gifts and tokens – to make Christmas special for those on the front line overseas.”
