Fenny Stratford-based antiques store Selwells was put under the spotlight on Tuesday afternoon – when the BBC television show Antiques Road Trip paid a visit to do a spot of filming on the premises.

Antiques expert Paul Laidlaw searched the vast selection of goods and purchased items that he will send to auction in a future episode of the popular show.

“The day went really well, everyone had a fantastic time,” said Selwells’ owner Mags Potter.

“Paul even bought a couple of items for himself while he was here.

“The exposure that the show will generate will be great for us.”
