City cop charged for alleged misconduct over use of police computer

A former Milton Keynes police officer has been charged with two counts of misconduct in public office for the alleged inappropriate use of the Police National Computer.

Martin McElvenna, aged 54, has been charged and bailed to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on November 18.

The charges relate to the alleged inappropriate use of the Police National Computer for non-policing purposes.

McElvenna, who served as a PC in Milton Keynes, was dismissed by the force on November 5, following a misconduct hearing.
