City start-up businesses and entrepreneurs will be offered a range of free advice and information as part of an initiative by MPs.
As Milton Keynes has proven to be one of the best places in the country to run a business, the event has been designed to be a ‘one-stop advice shop’ for those who currently have a business or those considering doing so.
Mark Lancaster, MP for Milton Keynes North said: “Businesses are vital to the growth of any economy.
“We are pleased to be joined by the likes of Companies House, HMRC, Santander, NatWest, Barclays, Rockstar etc. Given my experience with running a family business, I am sure this event will prove useful to all those who attend.”
Iain Stewart, MP for Milton Keynes South said: “We are delighted to have this event sponsored by Biztech, Network Rail and Heart FM. Milton Keynes is a great place to live and do business.
“I am committed to doing all I can to support our local economy which is why we are hosting this event.”
The Business Start Up and Enterprise Fair is free to attend and will be held this afternoon at the Network Rail Head Office from 4-7pm.
