On Sunday the Cricket Pavilion in Great Linford will be filled with the sound of sawing and hammering!

From 10.30am to 1pm children and adults alike will have the opportunity to build bird boxes and feeders to support the feathered friends in their own gardens.

This activity is free to attend and open to everybody over the age of five years old. Children under 16 years old need to be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

Pre-booking is essential. Please contact Monique on 07801 686 027 or rwe@btcv.org.uk.

This event is part of the Milton Keynes Railway Walk Experience Project, which has been awarded £65,000 of funding to improve the area. The money was given by WREN, a not for profit business that awards grants to community, environmental and heritage projects across the UK. The funding will go towards improving access to the Milton Keynes Railway Walk and creating a place for local people to escape to and enjoy.

Peter Cox, managing director of WREN, said: “BTCV and The Railway Walk provide an interesting and educational programme of activity which offers something for everyone. We’re delighted that the project continues to be successful and popular and works so closely with the local community. WREN is proud to work with projects like this, that make a real difference to local communities, children and families.”
