Bounce GB, an indoor trampoline park, opens to the public tomorrow, Saturday, May 31. Indoor trampolining is the latest sports craze which has taken America by storm and this will be the first park to open not just in Milton Keynes but in the whole country.
Bounce features more than 100 interconnected trampolines covering walls and floor in an area of more than 22,000 square feet. Fitness centre operator, Gary Knill, said: “Bounce GB is for anyone who likes a bit of fun, who wants to get fit or who wants to give their kids a great time. Half an hour of bouncing burns almost 500 calories; that’s more than swimming, skiing or running and three times as much as walking, so it is fantastic as part of any fitness programme.” The ground-breaking trampoline park is creating 60 new jobs and is already proving popular with numerous enquiries for children’s parties.
Gary added: “We all know how kids love to jump around and go bonkers and this is the perfect place for them to do it. They’ll have a great time in complete safety, get some exercise without even realising it and they’ll be asleep as soon as their heads hit the pillow after a session here,”
Bounce GB, open from 10am-10pm, is located at Peverel Drive just opposite stadium:mk.
