Brownies, Guides and Rainbows joined forces to make their annual fundraising fete a sunny success on Saturday.
Packs and troops from all over the city gathered at Herons Lodge guiding centre to do their very best.
There were stalls, home made cakes, raffles, refreshments and tombolas – and all the items were donated or created by the girls themselves.
The proceeds of the fete will pay for repairs and maintenance of Herons Lodge.
The Loughton Lodge centre is owned and managed by the Milton Keynes Girlguiding division.
A spokesman said: “After being open for over 10 years, there are a number of items that need replacing and general maintenance that needs to be completed.
“The May fete is our main fundraiser off the year – and many hands make light work!”
Last year’s fete raised more than £1,700 and it is hoped this year’s total will be even higher.
The purpose-built centre has a 40ft long dormitory that sleeps 24 people. It also has three en-suite bedrooms, toilet and shower blocks, meeting rooms and a large activity hall.
The grassed area outside the building is used for camping and even has a purpose-built campfire circle.
The building also hosts a shop, which is open on Saturdays only, selling Rainbow, Brownie and Guide uniforms and equipment.
There is an out of hours order service for parents on email@example.com.
Girlguiding Milton Keynes boosts its income by offering the building for hire to community groups, corporate businesses and private function organisers.
