The new Mind BLMK Wellbeing Centre was officially opened on Thursday.
Based in Midsummer House, the centre provides a range of information, support and services to help people gain and maintain better mental health.
Councillor Debbie Brock, the cabinet lead for Health and Wellbeing, said: “The new centre will help people add years to their lives, and life to their years. There is no health without mental health and Mind helps people live more fulfilling lives.”
As well as providing Mind counselling, the new centre also offers art, yoga, support groups and information.
Steve McNay, Mind service manager for Milton Keynes, said: ‘We have been supporting people in the city for over 40 years and the new service places us right in the centre.”
