Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in Bletchley last Thursday afternoon.

The victim, a 20-year-old female, was walking along a redway from Tattenhoe Lane, West Bletchley, to Cropwell Bishop in Emerson Valley. As she walked through the underpass a man leaning againt a wall pulled the victim against the same wall. He then touched her inappropriately before the victim pushed him away. The attacker was black, slim, about 6ft, and wearing a black balaclava. He was wearing black clothing and a hooded top.

The offender asked her to stay with him, and had a distinctive accent.

Case Investigator, Selena Nolan, said: “The victim passed a number of people during her journey, suggesting that a number of people could have seen this offender. We ask anyone who saw a male of this description to come forward; this will help us to further our investigation.”

If you saw this incident or had any information, please contact Selena Nolan via the Thames Valley Police Enquiry Centre on 101.
