NHS Milton Keynes Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has confirmed that Willen Surgery will be reopening on Monday, August 15.

Now known as NPMC@Willen it will provide GP services, physiotherapy and a number of other specialist services including diabetes, respiratory care and minor surgery and will soon be welcoming patients from the local area.

The surgery was closed in 2013, but will be reopening as a branch of Newport Pagnell Medical Centre and patients currently seen at Newport Pagnell can change their registered GP to one at Willen if it is more convenient to them.

Doctors from Newport Pagnell Medical Centre will also see patients at the Willen Surgery.

“Ensuring that people in Milton Keynes have good access to primary care is a priority for the CCG,” said

Dr Nicola Smith, Chair of NHS Milton Keynes CCG.
