A city community choir is looking for volunteers to help support a new project which will raise money for Help for Heroes.
All Nations Community Choir is recording a charity single and music video to be released at the end of September and a documentary that will be shown on Remembrance Sunday.
The choir is now asking for anyone who can sing, rap, dance, beatbox, act, DJ or modelto visit Acorn House, Midsummer Boulevard on Saturday between 12am and 3pm.
Joseph Benneh, director of ANCC, said: “Everybody that has been hurt needs some healing. The song is not just for the injured soldiers, it is also about anybody that has suffered or went through some rough times and needed help.
“ANCC is a community organisation so we encourage everybody to participate in this project.”
In order to take part in the auditions people need to register on the ANCC website at www.anccmk.webs.com/contactus.htm.
ANCC will also be collecting funds with collecting tins. Any organisation or person interested in helping the choir can email Lori Tomes on email@example.com.
