Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a house burglary in Olney last week.

Between 10pm last Thursday and 5.30am on Friday, offenders gained entry to a property in Dinglederry while the homeowner was asleep.

Although it is not known how the offender gained entry, the victim had not double locked the front door.

The offenders stole a rucksack and HP laptop. The contents of the rucksack were found in the front garden.

Det Con Wendy Cissell from Milton Keynes police station said: “People are reminded to double lock UPVC doors at night.”
