Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Conniburrow at the weekend.

The incident took place on Sunday evening at about 8.30pm near the H5 Portway Bridge adjacent to Speedwell Place.

A 27-year-old woman was out running and stopped at the junction of Silbury Boulevard and North 13th Street, when she noticed a man watching her.

She continued across the H5 Portway Bridge, and realised that the man was following her.

The man approached her and attempted to grab the mobile phone which she was holding.

He managed to take the phone before running away from the scene.

Police arrested a 30-year-old man from Milton Keynes yesterday on Wednesday on suspicion of robbery. He has been released on police bail until 30 June.
