Driver, 74, still in hospital after collision

A 74-year-old man involved in a road traffic collision is still in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The man was involved in a road traffic collision on April 29 and a nine-year-old passenger also suffered serious injuries but is stable.

At 8.30pm on the day, a red VW Polo was travelling along the V7 Saxon Street, from the H9 Groveway towards the H8 Standing Way, when it was involved in a collision with a maroon Land Rover Discovery driving in the opposite direction.

The 74-year-old, from Bletchley, who was driving the Polo, suffered serious injuries and was in a critical condition at Milton Keynes Hospital. The driver of the Land Rover was not injured.
