E-Fit appeal following robbery and assault on elderly couple in Milton Keynes

Thames Valley Police have released an E-fit image of a man officers want to speak to in connection with a robbery in Milton Keynes that has left an elderly man in hospital.

At around 8.20pm on 31 May 2016 on Wedgwood Avenue, Blakelands, a man presented himself at the front door of an elderly couple requesting to enter the property to adjust the water pressure.

After being refused access, the man pushed the victim to the floor.

After entering the property the man told the second victim an elderly woman, to remain silent, and assaulted her as she struggled with him.

While this was happening a second man was searching the rest of the house.

The men left empty handed, but the elderly man suffered injuries and is still being treated in hospital after he was pushed over.

The first offender who is shown in the E-fit is a white man aged in his forties, with a normal build but broad shoulders and is around 6ft. He did not speak good English and is possibly European.
