Firefighters were at the scene of a fire involving up to 40 hay bales for more than six hours on Sunday night.
Crews from Great Holm and Bletchley were called to the fire, on farm land in Calverton Road, Stony Stratford, shortly before 7.30pm.
Watch Manager Tony Venables from Great Holm Fire Station said: ”The fire involved about 35 to 40 bales, but we managed to save a similar amount.”
Firefighters used a ground-mounted jet and two hose reels to bring the fire under control.
A relief crew from Bletchley arrived at 11.30pm and remained at the scene until 1.40am. Firefighters carried out three reinspections during the early hours of the morning.
