THE partner of a man who died after a fatal collision has joined forces with police to appeal for witnesses.
Richard Tidborough died from injuries sustained after his yellow Seat Leon was involved in a collision with a black Dodge Caliber on the V10 Brickhill Street at 3.40am on Friday, July 29.
Police would like to speak to a taxi driver who was taking a girl home to Caldecote after he had picked her up from outside Oceana.
It is believed the taxi driver narrowly avoided colliding with the Seat Leon and continued on to Caldecote.
Richard’s partner, Nicola Williams, said: “Richard was a really nice guy with lots of friends.
“He was my boy and will be deeply missed by us all. I appeal for the taxi driver to come forward to complete the puzzle.
“I just want to know what happened.
“Everyone has been really kind to me.
“I would like to say a big thank you to police, especially the investigating officer PC Ian Leyland and my family liaison officer PC Mat Waters.”
If anyone has any information or you know the taxi driver then get in touch with police on 0845 8 505 505.
