A 58-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of murder following the death of woman in a fire in Great Linford, has been bailed until July 16.
Police investigating the fatal fire on Sunday, say the death remains unexplained after the results of a post-mortem examination proved inconclusive. Further tests will now be carried out.
Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Gill Wootton, said: “There are a number of enquiries being progressed into the circumstances of the cause of the fire and the woman’s death.
“Although the formal identification has still not been completed, we believe we know the woman’s identity and are keeping her next of kin informed of any developments.”
