Man charged with series of robberies

A man has been charged with seven offences relating to robbery and theft in Milton Keynes.

Christopher Frederick Jones, aged 34, of no fixed abode was charged yesterday (Wednesday) with the following offences:

1. Robbery in relation to an incident on February 22 at Sirjco Minimarket, Conniburrow

2. Robbery and Use of a bladed article to cause fear in a public place in relation to an incident on March 11 at Tesco Express, Greenleys

3. Robbery and Use of a bladed article to cause fear in a public place in relation to an incident on March 12 at Bargain Booze, Bletchley

4. Theft in relation to an incident on March 13 at Asda, Glyn Square, Wolverton

5. Theft in relation to an incident on March 14 at Co-op, New Bardwel

6. Robbery in relation to an incident on March 15 at Co-op, Great Lindford

7. Theft in relation to an incident on March 15 at Budgens, Stony Stratford

He was remanded in custody to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on Friday (22/3).
