Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a man was attacked by four men with bats and a machete during a burglary on Tuesday.

At around 6.13pm, a woman answered the door of her home in Farthing Grove, Netherfield and four black men carrying bats and a machete ran into the house.

They searched the house and took a mobile phone before the woman’s boyfriend confronted them. They began attacking him before making off on foot. He was left with injuries to his arm and head and was treated in Milton Keynes General Hospital. He has since been discharged. Both of the victims were in their early twenties.

The suspects were all aged in their mid-twenties. One was wearing a black bomber jacket and another was wearing a camouflage deerstalker type hat.
