Milton Keynes motorcyclists left fighting for life after head on collision

A Milton Keynes man was left with ‘life threatening’ injuries following what police believe was a head on collision with each other in Northamptonshire last night.

Northamptonshire Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision on Monday, 18 May, involving two motorcyclists.

At about 11.50pm, both motorcyclists were travelling in opposite directions on the A422 near to Deanshanger.

Rider one, a 45-year-old man, on a black Harley Davidson, was travelling from the direction of Old Stratford.

Rider two, a man from Milton Keynes, on a blue Yamaha R1, was travelling in the opposite direction.

As a result of the collision both riders received ‘life threatening injuries’, police said and were taken to John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
