AN attack on a 13-year-old boy in Central Milton Keynes has prompted a witness appeal from Thames Valley Police.
At about 6.15pm, the victim was cycling in the Xscape car park, close to Avebury Boulevard, when he was approached by two boys who asked for his bicycle.
The victim refused to hand it over and was attacked and knocked to the ground. One of the boys cycled away on the bike, while the other continued to attack the victim.
The two offenders are white, and approximately 13-years-old. One of them is slim with blonde hair and the other is large and was wearing a dark coloured cap and a blue T-shirt.
Det Con Gareth Suffling, from Milton Keynes police station, said: “This was a nasty attack on a young boy who was minding his own business.
“This was a horrendous experience for the victim; it is only by luck that he was not injured.
“The Xscape car park would have been busy at this time of day and I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident.”
Anyone with information about this incident should contact Det Con Suffling via the Thames Valley Police’s 24-hour Enquiry Centre on 0845 8 505 505.
