Pedestrian injured in collision dies in hospital

A pedestrian who was injured in a collision in Milton Keynes on Monday morning, has died in hospital.

The man, 25, was involved in a collision with a van in Saxon Street, Fishermead, at around 5am.

The van involved was a black car-derived Vauxhall Astra. The driver, a 48-year-old man, was taken to hospital for treatment to minor injuries.

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the collision. Sgt Scott Silk, leading the investigation, said: “At this time of day there would have been people travelling to work and may have seen the collision or the pedestrian prior to the incident.”
