Phone stolen in daytime robbery in Bletchley

A teenager had his phone stolen in a robbery near Leon recreation ground yesterday.

At about 2.30pm, he was walking near to Leon Avenue, Bletchley, when he was approached by another teen who put his arm round his shoulders asking him what he had on him.

He then asked the victim for his phone, before searching his pockets, and taking out his BlackBerry mobile. He took the SIM card out and gave this back, before running off.

The offender is black, about 16 or 17-years-old, medium build, around 5ft 6ins, with brown eyes and large nostrils. He was wearing a thick cream hooded jumper with a zip and pockets, with the hood up and pulled up to cover his lower face. He spoke with a local accent.
