Police conduct search and find this killer weapon on Milton Keynes estate

Officers from the North Neighbourhood Team were out conducting the search in Hodge Lea this morning.

They found the knife, which has a blade long enough to kill or cause serious injury, half buried under the dirt.

A spokesman said: "This knife was located hidden underneath a log, not far from a footpath. The knife has been seized and will be destroyed."

He added: "Officers will continue patrolling the area this evening as part of Operation Sceptre, so please stop and say hello if you see them."
