A 17-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of rape as police investigate a reported attack on a 15-year-old girl.
On Sunday, March 10, the girl reported to police she had been raped next to a bus stop on the V10 in Monkston. The victim said it happened between 3pm and 5pm on either March 2 or 3.
Detective Constable John Swallow, of Milton Keynes CID, said: “We are carrying out a full investigation into this incident and the victim is being fully supported.
“We are treating this as an isolated incident and are appealing for specific witnesses to come forward.
“The first potential witness was a woman walking a little Yorkshire terrier. She is described as between 40 and 50-years-old, about 5ft 7ins, with blonde hair.
“The second potential witness was a woman with a pushchair. She is described as skinny with shoulder-length purple hair and wearing a purple Adidas jacket.
“I would appeal to these people to contact police as soon as possible. Alternatively if you believe you saw something suspicious in a bus shelter on the V10 in Monkston between 3pm and 5pm on the weekend of March 2 to 3, then please come forward.”
