Police warn Newport Pagnell residents over fraud

Police are asking residents to be aware of a cash point which had been tampered with in Newport Pagnell.

At about 11.30am yesterday, officers were called to the cash point outside the in Co-op in Wordsworth Avenue, where they found a device placed on the cash machine which had retained customers’ cards.

The officers seized the device for examination.

PC Mark Poulton, from Newport Pagnell police station, said: “This is not the first time this cash machine has been targeted by criminals and I would like to hear from anyone with information which can help identify the offenders.”
