Two men robbed a shop in Bletchley on Thursday evening, with one of them restraining a member of staff as his accomplice stole cash and cigarettes.

The incident, at VG Premier Stores in Chepstow Drive, took place on Thursday (February 26) at 7.19pm.

After grabbing their takings the offenders then ran off. Both men’s faces were covered, but are described as white, aged 20-25. One man was 6ft tall, of slim build, and wore a hooded top and possibly navy blue jeans, while the other man was 5ft 3ins-5ft 5ins, of medium build, wearing a blue hooded top and light blue denim jeans, and carrying a white cotton bag.

Det Sgt Jason Simpson, of Milton Keynes Force CID, said: “While nobody was injured in this robbery, the incident will have been a distressing ordeal for the staff members.

“I would appeal to anyone with any information, or who thinks they may recognise the offenders from the descriptions, to contact us.”
