A pair of robbers have been imprisoned for a total of six years.

Patrick Allen, aged 40, and Daniel Brice, 25, both of no fixed abode, pleaded not guilty to one count of robbery but were convicted by a jury at Amersham Crown Court on Wednesday (September 10).

They were each sentenced to three years’ imprisonment.

The court heard that at around 3pm on April 9, Allen and Brice attacked a 44-year-old man outside Greggs, near Milton Keynes Railway Station. They punched and kicked him and stole £40 and his bank card.

The victim sustained cuts and grazes to his face and leg.
