Two arrested over knife attack in car park

Two people have been arrested after a 35-year-old man suffered knife injuries after an incident in a car park in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The altercation involved a number of people at around 1am outside Wolverton Town Sports and Social Club in Field Lane, Greenleys.

The victim sustained a number of injuries which are believed to have been caused by a knife, and is being treated at Milton Keynes Hospital.

Det Sgt Luke Grove from Milton Keynes Force CID said: “I would like to reassure residents that this is not thought to have been a random attack.

“Officers are conducting enquiries today and two people have been arrested and are currently in custody being questioned.

“If anyone has any information about this incident, please call me via the 101 number.”
