Dancing on Ice queen Vicky Ogden and partner Sam Attwater, showed their support for Age UK’s Bobble Day at city coffee shop Bon Viveur.
Karen, Magda and Faye from the Witan Court based coffee shop joined Sally Wood from Age UK Milton Keynes in wearing silly woolly hats and fluffy bobbles. Vicky and Sam were happy to get in on the act too, as they dropped by for a warming cup of coffee.
Age UK’s Bobble Day is on February 7 and people up and down the country will be helping to raise money to make winter warmer for older people who are suffering needlessly at this time of year.
Money raised from Bobble Day 2014 will go towards Age UK’s Spread the Warmth campaign. Age UK and its local and national partners are working to keep older people warm and well. Age UK Milton Keynes provides social activities and contact for older people, as well as tips on combating the cold at home and outdoors. The charity is keeping people warm and safe at home, offering information and advice all year round.
