THE countdown has begun to this year’s borough and parish elections, which are being held on May 3.
A third of the council - 17 seats - will be contested on May 3, with the count being held at StadiumMK the following day.
Parish elections will also be held, and anyone interested in standing in either - or both - should make their nominations to the council’s Returning Officer by Noon on Wednesday, April 4.

MKC Returning Officer John Moffoot said: “This is an important time of the year and an important part of the democratic process. We would advise people to get their nominations in as early as possible but also to check and double check that they have filled in their nomination forms correctly.”
