Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a collision in the city on Tuesday.

At around 8.42am a black Peugeot 206 was travelling on the A4146 Tongwell Street in Wavendon and was involved in a collision with another vehicle at the Fox Milne roundabout.

The vehicle, which was dark-coloured, did not stop at the scene. No further description of the vehicle is currently available.

The driver of the Peugeot, a 26-year-old woman, sustained a minor injury and was taken to Milton Keynes General Hospital. She has since been discharged.

Investigating officer PC Liz Johnson, from the Joint Operations Unit for Roads Policing, said: “I would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened or saw the vehicles travelling prior to the collision.

“I would specifically like to appeal to the drivers of a white Iveco van and another white van, possibly Vauxhall Movano style van, who stopped to assist the driver and pulled in to the Shell garage with her.

“I would like them to come forward as potential witnesses who can assist police with their enquiries.”

If you have any information about the collision please call the 24-hour Thames Valley Police enquiry centre on 101.

If you don’t want to speak directly to the police you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
