Robbie Neilson took a step closer to becoming the next MK Dons manager on Thursday night as Hearts agreed terms to allow him to make the switch.
The 36-year-old will be joined by assistant manager Stevie Crawford and will finalise personal terms in Milton Keynes tomorrow (Friday).
Neilson said farewell to his Hearts players having guided them to second in the Scottish Premiership table on Wednesday night with a 2-0 win over Rangers at Tynecastle.

A statement from MK Dons read: "Milton Keynes Dons Football Club can confirm it has agreed terms with Heart of Midlothian for their head coach Robbie Neilson and assistant Stevie Crawford.
"Neilson and Crawford are now expected at Stadium MK on Friday to finalise personal terms.
"A further statement will be made once the appointments are completed."
