AN 18-year-old, involved in a fatal shooting in Fishermead last night, has died as a result of his injuries.

Amin Ahmed Ismail was pronounced dead in Milton Keynes General Hospital at 1.32pm today (27/5) where he had been under armed guard.

Last night 19-year-old Mohamed Farah was pronounced dead at the scene after he was also shot.

Det Supt Rob Mason, who is leading the inquiry, said: “We are obviously still at a very early stage of this investigation.

“We believe that the victims in this incident are friends, but we do not know if the offender is known to them.

“I realise that there is a lot of concern in the community as well as a lot of speculation about the reasons behind this incident. We are still trying to establish the facts and cannot be drawn on rumours and speculation.

“We have a large and highly visible police presence in the area which should provide some reassurance to the community at this difficult time.

“I continue to urge anyone who has any information about this incident to contact police urgently.”

Anyone with any information about this incident should contact Thames Valley Police via 0845 8 505 505.
