Milton Keynes quintet Heart of a Coward played the Download Festival on Saturday.
Their late afternoon slot on The Pepsi Max stage pulled in a rabid crowd, and the band put on an explosive, relentless performance which justified their standing at the festival, and doubtless brought loads more fans to their extreme party.
The Download slot was the perfect follow-on from the news earlier this month that the metallers have inked a deal with Century Media Records.
“Century Media are on our wavelength in terms of where we want to take Heart of a Coward, as well as boasting releases from some of our favourite bands and influences,” vocalist Jamie Graham said.
“It’s an honour to be a part of the CM family and we are really excited to have such an awesome label onboard.”
Their second album, a follow up to 2012s Hope & Hindrance, will be released before the end of the year.
