Dream come true for young Manchester City fan from Milton Keynes

A young Manchester City fan from Milton Keynes had the time of his life after he won a VIP trip to watch his team play.

George Kane went to Etihad Stadium and was given the chance to high five his heroes before they drew 2-2 against Arsenal. George Kane was given the VIP The seven-year-old won a competition hosted via Match Of The Day magazine, which aims to put youngsters at the heart of the action for their first ever live Manchester City match.

George was treated to the Blue Carpet Experience with a tour of the stadium,, a meet and greet with club mascots Moonchester and Moonbeam and the opportunity to stand pitchside and watch the players warm up.

He said, “I’ve never won a competition before and this was the best prize ever.

“I even got to high-five from Sergio Aguero on the Blue Carpet. I don’t think my friends at school will believe me when I tell them!”

George’s brother Thomas was also invited along for the day.

He said:“I was completely overwhelmed by the state-of-the-art facilities on offer at the Etihad Stadium. I’ve never seen anything like it. George had one of the best days of his life, he still hasn’t stopped smiling!”
