Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a pregnant woman and her 18-month-old daughter were involved in a collision on Sunday (7/8).

At 3pm, a black Mercedes estate car and what is believed to be a green series 3 BMW collided on the Kelly’s Kitchen Roundabout at Fenny Stratford.

The BMW, which is possibly a P plate, failed to stop at the scene despite the fact that both vehicles were damaged.

PC John Bulman, from Milton Keynes Roads Policing base, said: “The Mercedes driver is 28 weeks pregnant and had her young daughter in the vehicle at the time. Neither was seriously injured but they were left very distressed by the incident.

“There were a large number of vehicles in the vicinity when the collision took place and it is hoped that anyone who witnessed the BMW drive away may have taken a registration number. The BMW will have quite major damage to the front passenger side.”

If you have any information about this incident please contact PC Bulman via the 24-hour Thames Valley Police Enquiry Line on 0845 8 505 505.
